Pottery Classes for Teens (13+)

FEE $65 2hrs..

The adult wheel throwing class includes all materials and instructions.

Explore the art of wheel throwing and enjoy an immersive, hands-on experience.

You can use as much clay as you'd like and keep 1 piece, with an additional fee of 0.05 per cubic inch/cm, for extra piece they choose to add.

They can choose from a selection of studio dipping glazes for your pieces. The studio will prepare, glaze, and fire their pieces, which will be ready for pickup in about four weeks after firing.

No prior experience is needed—Each session concludes with a 15-minute cleanup period. Students should arrive on time, dressed in comfortable clothing that can get messy.

FEE $250 FOR 6 WEEKS EACH CLASS 2hrs

A 6-week pottery course for teens aged 13 and up, ideal for both beginners and intermediate students. Focuses on building foundational pottery skills, including centering clay, pulling, shaping cylinders, and creating custom projects as students advance.

All equipment, materials, and clay are provided, with hands-on guidance in shaping and decorating.

Students will also learn how to decorate their work using underglazes and slips, with personalized guidance throughout the process.

5 Days 3 Hours Per Session

Let your teen’s creativity shine in our weeklong pottery camp, daily from 1 to 4pm, designed for ages 13 and up! Students will explore both pottery wheel and hand-building techniques.

On the wheel, they’ll learn the fundamentals of wedging, centering, lifting, and trimming to create unique pottery. Through hand-building, they’ll master slab, coil, and pinching techniques to craft their pieces.

Each student will receive personalized guidance based on their skill level from our instructors. Teens will get to keep up to 10 of their best creations and select their glaze colors. Finished pieces will be available for pickup in about one week after camp ends.

A light snack is provided daily, but we recommend bringing a hearty snack and water bottle, especially for those with allergies.
